Hailing from Bentonville, AR, LT Bennett Moehring is an MH-53E Sea Dragon pilot currently deployed in Pohang, South Korea, with HM-15. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he thrives on the challenges that come with flying the oldest aircraft in the fleet. His role in the Navy extends beyond the cockpit—mentoring and leading junior Sailors while being part of a close-knit aviation wardroom are among the aspects of service he values most.

Outside of work, LT Moehring enjoys staying active through running and working out, keeping up with the latest shows, and exploring new Korean cuisine. While he embraces the adventure of deployment, he deeply misses his wife, Rory, his two dogs, Blue and Ruby, and the weekends spent with close friends in Norfolk, VA. Despite the distance, the unwavering support from his family and friends back home remains a source of strength throughout his time overseas.
