Lieutenant Junior Grade Aaron Gilberto comes from the small, rural town of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania. Aaron attended the Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina as a Mathematics major and commissioned into the United States Navy after graduating. He commissioned into the Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer and currently serves as the Damage Control Assistant aboard the USS Truxtun.

In his free time, Aaron can be found reading, watching the latest new scary movies, going to the gym, and when he is home in Pennsylvania, fishing. Even though life on a Navy vessel can be a challenge, Aaron is always driven by the opportunity to work with and lead the Nation's finest Sailors. A sense of a strong team is what he enjoys most about serving in the Navy. While away from home, Aaron reminisces of outdoor activities back in his home of Pennsylvania; and he can not wait to return to his mother and father, and large family of two brothers, four nephews, and three nieces.
