LT Emily Solis is a pilot with HSM-73, currently on her first deployment flying the MH-60R aboard the USS Wayne E Meyer. While she's not flying during deployment, she stays active by working out in the hangar, studying, or watching movies with fellow pilots. Back home in San Diego, she loves spending time at the beach, hitting a CrossFit or Spin class, and meeting up with friends for dinner and drinks. While excited for the challenges ahead, she’ll miss quality time with her boyfriend Hop, her friends and family, and, of course, the amazing food in San Diego!
